Gardens are located on the left on the road to Porlock Weir half a mile
from Porlock, and before reaching the hamlet of West Porlock.
There is
a sign on the
road 100 yards before the turning but it is easy to miss. Parking
is provided on the grass
to the left of the lane leading
to the gardens.

Porlock is located on the
A39. From the M5 motorway exit at junction 24, Bridgwater,
then follow the A39, or exit at junction 25, Taunton, then follow the A358 & A39.
There are seasonal National
Express coach services to Minehead then First Southern
National local bus service to Porlock, or take a coach to Taunton and change
to the local
bus service to Porlock.
Taunton is
the nearest mainline station. There is a regular First Southern National
bus
service to Porlock departing from the south side of Taunton station. The West
Somerset
Railway operates steam and diesel train services on many days between mid March
and the end of October from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead. First Southern National
runs buses from Taunton to Bishops Lydeard. Combined tickets are available
from
the bus driver.
